1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or playing Idle Quest RPG ("the Game"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you don't agree, please don't use the Game.

2. The Game

Idle Quest RPG is a free-to-play browser-based RPG. You can play entirely for free. We offer optional paid upgrades:

• Premium Pass — $4.99/month
• VIP Pass — $9.99/month
• Diamond Packs — various one-time purchases

Paid features provide convenience and cosmetic benefits. The game is fully playable without spending money.

3. Game Data & Accounts

Your game progress is saved locally in your browser (localStorage) and synced to our server using a unique player code. There are no traditional user accounts — your player code and optional PIN are how you access your save.

• You are responsible for keeping your player code and PIN safe.
• If you clear your browser data without syncing, your local progress may be lost.
• We store server-side backups of synced saves, but cannot guarantee data recovery in all cases.

4. Payments & Refunds

All payments are processed securely through Stripe. We do not store your credit card information.

• All purchases are final. Due to the instant delivery of digital goods, refunds are generally not provided.
• If you believe a charge was made in error, contact us within 7 days and we'll review your case.
• We reserve the right to modify pricing at any time. Existing purchases are not affected.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Cheat, exploit bugs, or use automated tools (bots, scripts) to gain unfair advantages.
• Tamper with save data, network requests, or game files.
• Harass, abuse, or spam other players in chat.
• Attempt to access the admin panel or other players' data.
• Use the Game for any illegal purpose.

6. Account Termination

We may suspend or ban your player account if you violate these terms, including but not limited to cheating or abusive behavior. Bans may result in loss of access to purchased features without refund.

7. Limitation of Liability

The Game is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for:

• Loss of game data or progress.
• Service interruptions or downtime.
• Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Game.

Our total liability for any claim related to the Game shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 3 months preceding the claim.

8. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of the Game after changes constitutes acceptance. We'll try to notify players of significant changes via in-game announcements.
